The V.I.S is well known to most in the international sporting community. For those of you not familiar with the V.I.S, the institute was established in 1990 to provide a high performance environment to assist with the development of Victoria’s best athletes.
The V.I.S now has over 500 athletes from a wide range of sports participating in its programs. It is fair to say many of Australia’s best athletes have been touched by the V.I.S. The training they have received has propelled them onto the world stage where their success has been nothing short of phenomenal!
Impressively, 26 Victorian Athletes have become Olympic Champions since the inception of the V.I.S. The V.I.S contribution to the national Olympic and Paralympic medal tally is always a significant one.
SPSS’s association with the V.I.S is truly valuable and a reflection of the high quality training systems that SPSS has to offer. The V.I.S is committed to ensuring its athletes receive the most innovative training aids available in the market and recognises that SPSS training aids and innovations will help to propel their elite athletes to the top of their chosen sport.
The association will see SPSS conditioning systems widely used in V.I.S national and regional programs by up and coming athletes plus those that are already well known on the international stage.
