SPSS was pleased to be nominated as a finalist in the New Zealand Canterbury Emerging Exporter of the year Award 2005. After a rigorous screening and interviewing process SPSS was excited to be attending the finals award night amongst some of the regions most successful exporting corporations and emerging export companies. The night was hosted by Garry McCormack which made the evening not only exciting but entertaining!

The Emerging Exporter of the Year award recognizes companies that have made the most remarkable export

jump forward. To qualify for this award companies must have been gaining minimum of 20% of revenue from export sales. Between 2004 and 2005 saw SPSS increase its annual revenue by 40%, 75% of this was from export sales.

SPSS was also announced as the overall winner of The TimeZoneOne Award for Creativity in Exporting. It was an absolute honour to receive this award and no mean feat to achieve due to the caliber of the finalists in each category that were eligible to win this award.

In announcing the award SPSS was credited for its outstanding creative thinking and action in the exporting field, plus it’s commitment to exporting and export strategy. Also, recognised was SPSS’s innovative marketing strategy, new product designs and

development of support materials for exportable products. These strategies allow SPSS to stay one step ahead of international manufacturers, particularly those in Asia and the Far East resulting in SPSS’s ability to retain its strong international market share and presence.
